This was the summer that Reggie White sued Eagles front-office executive Patrick Forte, his former agent, for breach of contract, negligence and breach of fiduciary duty, accusing him of secretly adding an option year into his contract while he pursued a job with the Eagles. On the day his trial was scheduled to start in the chambers of U.S. District Judge Charles Weiner on the sixth floor of the federal court building at 6th and Market, White and the Eagles agreed on a new contract worth $6.1 million over four years, and the suit was dropped.
