Fantasy Footballers on Justin Herbert

Herbert's improved line and soft opening schedule could repeat last year's week-one trap.

Herbert led the league in percentage of dropbacks pressured last year and was the first quarterback since 2018 to lead the league in that stat and make the playoffs. The Chargers' offensive line was historically bad, but they've now added two all-pro tackles. Herbert's schedule opens with Arizona (nearly 12-point favorites) and Las Vegas (8.5-point favorites), setting up for a strong first two weeks. However, week three at Buffalo and week four at Seattle begin a tougher stretch. Last year, Herbert scored 28 fantasy points in week one and became locked into rosters before falling apart.
