Kamara has been 'awful the last 3 years' with significant injury burden, dealing with a ton of injuries. When healthy, he averaged 5.5 yards per carry from four years ago. He remains the team's pass-catching specialist on passing downs and a locker room leader, which limits Etienne's high-value target opportunities. Even a 'dusty, washed' Kamara is still probably a better pass catcher than Etienne. Over his career, Kamara has been more efficient, forced more missed tackles, and been better than Etienne despite playing in a worse offensive situation.
