Baker Mayfield was top-five to top-six in catchable throw rate in 2024, but that metric cratered last year due to injuries he played through (foot, toe, biceps, knee, oblique, illness, shoulder left and right). With a legitimate play-caller upgrade from Josh Grizzard to Zach Robinson (from the McVay tree), Mayfield's performance should improve. He has been a top-five quarterback off play action over the last three seasons. Comparable fantasy output to Joe Burrow at a significant ADP discount: posted 0.6 PPG less than Burrow in 2025, 0.2 PPG less in 2024, and 1.5 PPG more in 2023, while going seven rounds earlier.
