Upside comp is Todd Gurley, who averaged only 12.4 PPG in 2016 (age 22) but jumped to 25.5 PPG in 2017 (age 23) after Rams changed coaching staff—more than McCaffrey's 2025 output. Downside comp is Trent Richardson, who fell from 17 PPG at age 22 to 9 PPG at age 23.
