Javvante Williams kind of seems like a whatever running back like he started off super strong tailed off a bit at the end of the year but ultimately played 69% of the snaps for the Dallas Cowboys this past season finishes the RB12 it's a good offense he had almost 16 carries a game 3.2 two targets per contest. He had like 19 total opportunities a game in a good offense. He's only 26 years old. He's another year removed from that devastating injury that he had in 2022, which looked like it really zapped him of his athleticism in the following years.
STACKED’s take
RB12 with 19 touches/game; injury recovery and upside offset round-3 cost.
Williams finished RB12 in 2024 with strong opportunity volume: 69% snap share, 16 carries per game, 3.2 targets per game, 19 total opportunities per game in a good Cowboys offense. At 26 years old and another year removed from his devastating 2022 injury that sapped his athleticism, he has room to improve given his elite prospect pedigree and early-career efficiency (4.4 yards per carry as a rookie, 6 yards per target). He started the season strong before tailing off late. JJ Zachariason prefers waiting for RB value in rounds 1–2 rather than drafting Williams in round 3 given the inflated RB market, but the underlying opportunity and recovery trajectory suggest upside if he can recapture his early-season form.
