he had a 34% team target share before he went down... one out of every three pass attempts was going to Garrett Wilson... he still has never demonstrated an elite ceiling in fantasy. The reason is he's a part of the New York Jets offense. The Jets are garbage.

Elite 34% target share capped by Jets offense; incoming WR competition will limit ceiling despite volume.

Had a 34% team target share in 2025 before going down (one out of every three pass attempts going to him, primarily with Justin Fields); historically strong volume. However, has never demonstrated an elite ceiling in fantasy because he plays for the New York Jets offense, which is garbage and projected to be one of the worst in the league—only better than the Cardinals and Browns according to sportsbooks. The addition of two round-one NFL picks to the Jets will finally give Wilson target competition, capping his upside despite elite target volume. Jets projected to improve with Gino Smith, but the offense remains a limiting factor on Wilson's upside.
