Dylan Sampson there. Sampson, another guy that does feel just like a little bit buried by big fantasy football right now. He was way better than we remember. I mean, he had 17 points in his first career game... the backfield for the Cleveland Browns is very settled. It is the two guys... Dylan Sampson proved that he's very good at that role last year for that team... I definitely prefer him to Kamara, to Raheem Davis.
STACKED’s take
Buried value RB; prefers to Kamara and Davis with settled Browns role.
Sampson is described as "buried by big fantasy football right now" despite strong underlying performance. He scored 17 points in his first career game, played passing downs, and jumped Jerome Ford at points during the season. With Jerome Ford now on the Washington Commanders, the Browns backfield is "very settled" with Sampson as a lead option. Davis Mattek prefers him to Alvin Kamara and Raheem Davis, noting his SEC Offensive Player of the Year pedigree at Tennessee and strong performance when called upon should lead to more offensive opportunity. Quantitative models currently project him for fewer targets and receptions than Quentin Judkins, which Mattek views as "very unlikely."
