The bullcase for Parker Washington without any bias is that the coaching staff has been overwhelmingly positive about him. He clearly has a connection with Trevor Lawrence the way that Brian Thomas Jr. did with M. Jones... He's probably honestly probably the closest comp to what he is is Russell Gage where he can eat up volume on a team that I expect to be good at passing.
STACKED’s take
Washington year-three breakout; Russell Gage comp with Lawrence connection
Mattek makes a bullcase for Parker Washington centered on coaching staff enthusiasm, a strong connection with Trevor Lawrence similar to Brian Thomas Jr.'s rapport with Mac Jones, and the team's apparent view of him as a positive asset. Mattek positions Washington as a year-three breakout candidate with Russell Gage as the closest comp; he can eat up volume on a passing-heavy Jaguars offense, is young (same age as Lad McConkey), was an early enrollee at Penn State, and is expected to play in 11 personnel. The main uncertainty is competition with Jacoby Myers in 12 personnel, but Washington has film pedigree and opportunity, distinguishing him from unproven downfield options.
