Another rookie, Carnell Tate in Tennessee... it just makes me worried about rushing to get Tate when he might not have even six and a half targets per game. Remember, they still have Wondell Robinson... I've got him in round six in full PPR. And I'm not sure I really love that one either because I'm not sure the Titans are A, going to be a team that scores a lot of points, or B, is going to be a team that's going to funnel it all toward Tate.

Dave Richard is uncertain about Carnell Tate, a talented but not perfect rookie wide receiver taken in the top five by Tennessee. Richard compares him to Malik Nabers, who had monster numbers as a rookie in New York with Brian Dable as play caller, and wonders if Dable will do something similar in Tennessee. However, Richard worries about rushing to get Tate because he might not even have six and a half targets per game. Tennessee still has Wondell Robinson and other peripheral pass catchers, plus they drafted two more last year, which could take away from Tate's target volume. Richard ranks him in round six in full PPR but doesn't love that rank either because he's unsure if the Titans will be a high-scoring team or funnel targets to Tate, and they might spread it around or aim for the middle of the field more, away from where Tate will run most of his routes.
