The critical issue is Achane's heavy dependence on Tua Tagovailoa: he averaged 21.5 PPR points per game in 25 games with Tua over the last two seasons but only 10.5 PPR points in eight games without Tua—a 15-point-per-game difference. With Malik Willis replacing Tua, Achane loses a key advantage; Willis ranked last in the NFL in target rate to running backs over the last two seasons, whereas Tua ranked second. This suggests Achane will see significantly fewer targets and production.
