Herbert has only been elite in fantasy during his first two NFL seasons, when he averaged over 26 fantasy points per game while throwing more than 39 passes per game. He has never been a yards-per-attempt or touchdown-rate standout, and while his rushing totals last year were great, that was a career-high and he typically averages around 350 rushing yards. He needs an efficiency spike to sustain elite production, but Mike McDaniels does not typically throw the ball a ton and the Chargers should have a pretty low pace offense.
