Xavier Worthy, the fastest man on the planet... he's just not a real wide receiver. He is like a gadget player in an offense that already has guys that operate those types of roles... when you look at the splits with him and Rashi Rice both on the field, in games over the last two years where Rashi Rice has played, Xavier Worthy averages 2.7 catches per game, just over eight PPR fantasy points per game. That's not usable... he can't do anything when Kelsey and Rice are on the field.

Despite two high-profile games (prime-time season opener and Super Bowl Hail Mary), Xavier Worthy is a gadget player in an offense already saturated with gadget roles; he lacks true separation ability and averages just 2.7 catches and 8 PPR fantasy points per game when Rashad Rice is on the field. His deep chemistry with Patrick Mahomes is poor despite his combine-leading speed, and defenses now play cover-two high, limiting his downfield opportunities. Can't separate from man coverage and struggles against zone coverage, while Rashad Rice performs the same role significantly better. With Travis Kelce and Rice both returning, Worthy is the clear odd man out in the Chiefs offense and should be let go in drafts.
