Jonathan Brooks is going to be the workhorse... everything you hear out of Carolina is that they want Jonathan Brooks to be the guy that emerges as the second round talent that they chose... they're almost certainly going to be a committee... I like taking him in the ninth or tenth round because he has the upside to be that guy, but I'm not projecting him to do so.

However, committee risk remains real—likely to share carries with Chuba Hubbard early season, and even if he becomes the bellcow, Carolina's offense ranks 23rd-27th in points per game, limiting ceiling. Source prefers drafting him in the ninth or tenth round rather than rounds 5-7 to capture upside at appropriate price. Workhorse emergence is not guaranteed, and the weak Carolina offense limits his ceiling despite talent.
