DK is the tough one here because pops off last week for a monster game, but that was his first ceiling game in like eight weeks, it feels like... Miami's defense has really turned things around over the second half of the season... they have allowed the seventh fewest fantasy points to the wide receiver position on the year... when you are a good defense against receivers and you have only one receiver to worry about, I do think there is a conversation to be had there. So when I look at DK, am I sitting him for Debo or Cleo Shakir or Darius Sllayton? No. Am I sitting him for Jawan Jennings? I think that's where the conversation kind of starts because of the up and down nature of what DK Mechaf has been this year... Vegas has got his prop at 54 and a half which is healthier than the lads the Jawans the Brian Thomas Juniors but it's still below some of the guys up here the Z Flowers is the J Jeffs those types of dudes. So, I think he belongs squarely in the dub flex category.
STACKED’s take
NeutralValue
Dub flex despite strong Miami defense; Vegas prop 54.5 yards.
DK Metcalf is a dub flex play for Week 15 against Miami. He had his first ceiling game in eight weeks last week and could carry momentum, but Miami's defense has allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points to WRs on the season and is particularly strong against single-receiver threats. Vegas has his prop at 54.5 yards, which is healthier than some peers (Jawan Jennings, Brian Thomas Jr.) but below top-tier receivers (Zay Flowers, Justin Jefferson). Thursday Night Football would not sit him for Debo Samuel, Cleo Skaggs, or Darius Slayton, but the conversation starts with Jawan Jennings due to Metcalf's up-and-down nature this season.
