Oscar DelpNO

Oscar Delp, a 6'5", 245-lb tight end from Georgia, is evaluated as a potential top-three producer in a compressed tight end class. Bob Harris identifies him as a potential Tucker Kraft-type: a strong open-field runner who can block reasonably well and could be deployed in dump-off and leak routes as a speed-based bulldozer. However, Delp's path to fantasy value depends on proving he can handle hard contact at the catch point and secure the ball; Harris observed insufficient instances of this skill in tape review, with drops occurring on contested catches. Delp may need to add muscle to replicate his SEC blocking prowess at the NFL level. The tight end class uncertainty—whether teams deploy more 12 and 13 personnel—could either limit or maximize his value depending on offensive scheme adoption.

Source transcript excerpt
Oscar Delp tight end in Georgia. Nice size 6'5 245. My feeling is this tight end class is very compressed and there is a bunch of guys who might be good. How good might Oscar Delp be? Could he be a top three producer? I think he could be a Tucker Kraft type to be honest. You could put him he runs really well in the open field... he's going to have to show a little bit more toughness at the catch point where he's taking hard contact and he can hold on to the ball. I just didn't see enough instances of where he could do that and the ones that I did see he dropped the ball.
