Even if Tua grabs the starting job and lands somewhere between his 2024 and 2025 seasons with roughly 13 games played and a 68% completion percentage, it is very unlikely the Falcons will sign him to a long-term deal. They could pursue a two-year, incentive-laden deal if Tua plays well in those 13 games and they don't like draft or free agent options, but barring a spectacular, fully healthy season, the Falcons are not going to make him their quarterback for the next 3-5 years. Tua's second career is more likely spent picking up quality short-term deals as a stopgap or low-end starter in Atlanta or elsewhere.
