13th overall; RB5/RB7 finisher with elite line, 65-catch floor, and Willis upside.
Hayden Winks ranks Devon Achane 13th overall in best-ball ADP (17th–18th), positioning him as a value pick. Achane finished RB5 and RB7 over the last two seasons in half-PPR (bumps up a couple spots in full PPR). Winks highlights three key factors: (1) Mike McDaniel's rushing scheme influence with Bobby Slowik; (2) manufactured receiving touches due to zero receiver/tight-end depth on the Dolphins, even with Malik Willis at QB; (3) elite offensive line with Patrick Paul (left tackle), Aaron Brewer (best center in NFL per Brandon Thorn), and newly drafted Khadenn Proctor (left guard). Winks emphasizes Achane is "one of the best running backs in the NFL" individually, without the nitpick concerns he has about peer RBs at his ADP. Achane is positioned to finish as the number one running back in yards per carry this year; the elite left side of the offensive line combined with dual-threat QB Malik Willis creates a full-point boost to yards per carry similar to historical dual-threat QB impacts (Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley as an Eagle). Achane will catch 65 passes this year with no excuses barring injury; the lack of target competition (former teammates Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are gone, replaced by limited receiving threats Tee Atwell and Malik Washington) ensures he remains a complete focal point of the passing game. Achane has big-play upside that may not have been fully unlocked in prior years; he benefited from check-downs under Tua Tagovailoa but has never played alongside a quarterback with elite mobility like Malik Willis, which could unlock additional explosive-play potential.

View De'Von Achane 2026 fantasy football value pagePlayer profile with fantasy value, ADP, projections, news, and source-backed STACKED insightsI have him ranked a couple spots ahead of Achane. I think that he's a good pick. Uh looking at the best ball ADPs, he's like 17th, 18th overall. I got him 13th. Uh he's been the RB5 and RB7 last year over the last couple seasons... I think even with Malik Willis, there's going to be so many manufactured touches as a receiver to Devon Achane... The left side, Patrick Paul was amazing... Aaron Brewer, you can make the argument he was the best center in the NFL last year... Devon Achane is one of the best running backs in the NFL. Like no question about it... He can he can finish as number one in yards per carry this year... he's still going to catch 65 passes this year. Like there's just like no excuses unless he gets injured that he's not a complete focal point of the passing.
