Ferguson averaged 21 yards per catch (11 catches on 25 targets) and demonstrated the ability to get behind defenders and make big plays. His rookie film shows crisp routes with sharp breaks that create separation, long stride and build-up speed to run past heavier-footed safeties and linebackers. Areas for development include catch percentage and physicality on contested catches. His blocking was better than draft pundits suggested—not a power player, but he showed ability to extend his long arms, stay in front, and lock out/screen off defenders. He has the hybrid chops to blur the lines of traditional personnel groupings.
