Now, y'all know we printed money last year by fading Lad and instead going aggressively after Quinton Johnston. If you throw these two guys side by side, you can see the big Q 12.2 fantasy points per game in comparison to Lad Mani at 11.3. But now you have no Keenan Allen and the overall offense should be much better.

McConkey poised for bigger jump than Johnston with Allen gone
With Keenan Allen's departure, McConkey is positioned for increased opportunity in an improved Chargers offense. Flock Fantasy expects McConkey to see a bigger jump than Quentin Johnston this season despite Johnston outproducing him last year (12.2 vs. 11.3 fantasy points per game), citing offensive line improvement and coaching staff upgrade as catalysts. The source previously faded McConkey in favor of Johnston but now views McConkey as the better player between the two.
