Bears TE focal point in Ben Johnson's scheme designed for Caleb Williams

Colston Loveland is expected to be a huge part and focal point of the Bears offense alongside Luther Burden; the team has emphasized how much time both players have spent at the facilities. Loveland was drafted to complement Burden in Ben Johnson's low-risk, high-reward passing scheme that emphasizes getting the ball to playmakers in space rather than downfield throws. Loveland is part of the offensive architecture designed to play to Caleb Williams' strengths and mitigate his weaknesses, positioning him as a beneficiary of the scheme's focus on completion percentage and explosive plays from short distances.
