The logical choice of players who are currently on the roster is third-year lineman Brandon Coleman. As of now, I'm told the plan is to move Brandon Coleman back to left tackle, where he was the starter in 2024. Coleman is no stranger to left tackle. He started 22 games at TCU on the left side and as a rookie with Washington, he had 12 starts at left tackle during the regular season and started all three playoff games.

In 242 snaps at left tackle last year, he allowed 0 sacks, 0 QB hits, and 5 pressures (2.1% pressure rate), which was better than Tunsil's elite 3.1% rate, though the caveat is the gameplan changed when Coleman filled in. He is a solid run blocker who fits the outside zone system well, and when his hands fire in conjunction with his feet he can perform well in pass protection. His main area for improvement is consistency with hand placement and avoiding over-setting that allows defenders to cross his face.
