Webb promoted to OC, will call plays with Payton mentoring; getting preseason reps.

Webb is transitioning from sideline QB coach to offensive coordinator, taking over play-calling duties from Sean Payton (who will provide mentoring). Head coach Payton de-emphasized the significance of the role change, stating "I think it'll feel and look about the same," and indicated Webb will get live reps calling plays in the preseason game to get in sync with Nix. Nix praised Webb's preparation and work ethic, saying he "does a really good job preparing" and "is going to work harder than anybody else in the building at his craft."
