Yahoo Fantasy Football on Tyler Shough
From the article
Once Shough took over the Saints' starting job in Week 9, he instantly became a usable fantasy option, averaging the 12th-most points per game (17.6 fppg) during his nine starts... he also ran for 174 yards, including at least 30 rushing yards in three of his last five appearances and scored three rushing touchdowns over that span.
STACKED’s take
Shough's mid-range QB2 ranking undervalues his rushing upside and improved Saints offense.
Shough took over as Saints starter in Week 9 and averaged 17.6 fantasy points per game over nine starts, ranking eighth in attempts, fifth in completions, third in completion percentage and ninth in yards per attempt among full-time starters. He added 174 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns over that span, including at least 30 rushing yards in three of his last five appearances. His 2026 outlook improves with the addition of first-round wideout Jordyn Tyson, third-round tight end Oscar Delp, running back Travis Etienne Jr., and guard David Edwards joining a core featuring Chris Olave, Juwan Johnson and three former first-round offensive linemen. Under Kellen Moore's playcalling, the Saints played at the fastest pace (27.1 seconds per play) and averaged the 11th-most plays per game (63.2) in 2025. His ADP as QB19 appears undervalued given his tools and ascending offense.
