With Kyler Murray named Vikings starter over J.J. McCarthy, the offense opens up more; McCarthy was being hidden within the offense which was not ideal for Jefferson. Justin Boone believes the move to Murray will be good for the Pro Bowl wide receiver, as the Vikings need improved QB play to help Jefferson bounce back from his worst NFL season in 2025.
