Even the great Justin Jefferson wasn't immune to a down season with bad quarterback play. Jefferson had by far the quietest season of what has already been a record-setting career. As a rookie he had 87.5 yards per game, and that was his career low until last season when he averaged 61.6 yards per game. He had 40 touchdowns his first two seasons and just two last season. His yards per catch last season was 12.5 after never being below 14 yards per catch in any season before.

Jefferson's 61.6 YPG floor should reverse with Murray upgrade over 2024 Vikings QBs.

Jefferson suffered a down season with poor quarterback play, averaging 61.6 yards per game (his career low) and just 2 touchdowns after 40 in his first two seasons; yards per catch dropped to 12.5 from a previous floor of 14+. Kyler Murray, while not a great track record of elevating receivers, will be a better asset than the Vikings' 2024 quarterbacks (J.J. McCarthy, Carson Wentz, Max Brosmer). Murray's plan should be to find No. 18 and target him often, positioning Jefferson for significant positive regression.
