Fantasy Football with Ian Hartitz on Matthew Golden

High-upside breakout candidate and major draft value

Eli Berkovits is high on Matthew Golden, noting that Jordan Love has explicitly identified him as the locked-in X receiver. Despite a quiet rookie season, Golden is a standout route runner with reliable hands. At camp, Love has consistently targeted Golden, often making him the first read on 70% of snaps. Berkovits projects him to catch 4-6 passes per game and views him as a high-upside WR4/flex option. He is currently a significant value in Yahoo drafts (WR55, round 11), being undervalued compared to peers like Juwan Jennings.
