Jakobi Meyers fantasy football insight from Hayden Winks - PPR Rankings

Meyers was a full-time player for the Jaguars from Week 11 on. He averaged 9.2 half PPR points per game (WR26) in them, and when Brian Thomas Jr. was healthy, Meyers averaged 8.7 (WR33). That isn't his ceiling outcome, but it is very close to it because that's without Travis Hunter, with BTJ in the dog house, and before the Jaguars seemed to be forcing in multiple TE sets. As Meyers' target competition increases, his fantasy value decreases, as he's more of a glue guy than explosive threat. Meyers' physicality and trustiness should make him a favorite in 2-WR sets, but I wouldn't expect many manufactured or downfield targets with Parker Washington and BTJ better suited for those, respectively. If Meyers doesn't get full-time snaps for whatever reason, then there's hard to see a path to fantasy starter value. The good news is Meyers signed a big deal on top of the Jaguars sending away a 3rd-round pick for him, so there is very real belief internally as he heads into his age-30 season. There are more exciting picks in redraft near his WR44 Underdog ADP, like Josh Downs, Xavier Worthy, Matthew Golden, and KC Concepcion. I'm not that interested in floor for my WR4/5 when I can take QB1s and TE1s in the same round.
