The issue is the rest of the Raiders' 2026 depth chart features smaller players who will get some snaps inside; Brock Bowers, Tre Tucker, and Jalen Nailor. If Bech remains an outside player, then he's going to be limited. He doesn't threaten vertically, so CBs can get in his hip pocket early on without feeling uncomfortable. Bech plays physically and can catch the ball, but without role catering, he can only do so much as an underneath and intermediate threat. His -0.17 EPA per target and 7.7 average depth of target are amongst the lowest at WR. Bech can move a bit laterally, and he maneuvered in zone coverage well, even if the stats don't translate. It's enough to consider him as an option to be a near full-time player in 2026, even if that's not the most-likely scenario. Nailer should be one of the full-time players, and Tucker is so different from Bech that they might just split the other reps. Bech is draftable as a deep sleeper in best ball only, and he's the WR98 in ADP on Underdog. That's too low. There will be signs if he's going to be a redraft waiver wire candidate midseason. That'd take a real Fernando Mendoza breakout.
