Milroe gets planned rotation with Lock in preseason, chance to prove passing ability.

Milroe will see a planned rotation with Drew Lock throughout the preseason opener, a change from last year where he would have entered only with the third-team unit in the third quarter. This represents an opportunity to develop as a passer and show enough progress to justify being an active game day quarterback; the biggest task is demonstrating he's a passing threat to add a new wrinkle to the offense.
