Devin Duvernay must prove special teams capability to secure a roster spot.

Signed to a one-year, $1.85 million contract to be the Cardinals' return man; will not receive many offensive snaps this season. Has not proven in training camp he is the right guy for kickoff or punt return, but has a strong history at both positions. Ran a 4.39 40-time with a 35.5" vertical leap, 10'-3" broad jump, and 6'-3 ¼" wingspan; was a track star who won the 2015 100-meter 6A State Championship in high school. Must prove he can handle both kickoff and punt return aspects of special teams to make the roster; otherwise, other receivers will outplay him for the spot.
