STACKED’s take
Fannin's elite TPRR (0.247) and missed tackles forced rate support TE8 breakout upside.
Broke out for 72 receptions, 731 yards, and 6 touchdowns as a rookie last season and proved to be one of the best target earners at his position on a per-route basis; his 0.247 targets per route run narrowly beat out Trey McBride for the best TPRR of any tight end (min. 50 targets), while his 30.6 missed tackles forced rate led the position by a very wide margin; the Browns have plenty of concern at quarterback, but Fannin thrived despite drawing targets from a forgettable cast of signal-callers last year; assuming head coach Todd Monken still has plans to heavily feature Fannin in the passing game, last year's TE8 could see notable improvements on last year's performance.
