Homer leads RB3 race after Packers game but hasn't secured the spot.

Travis Homer emerged as the favorite for the Steelers' RB3 spot after starting against Green Bay in place of resting Jaylen Warren and Rico Dowdle. Despite averaging just two yards per carry on a rough outing, Homer showed solid traits including extensive special teams snaps as the personal protector on the punt unit and two catches in the passing game. His 53-man roster odds have increased, but he hasn't run away with the RB3 job yet and faces competition from Lew Nichols, Eli Heidenreich, and Kaleb Johnson.
