The opportunity in front of Josh Downs is the best it's ever been. 2026 looks like the first shot of his career to play more than a strict slot role. When he has been on the field, Downs has been great, especially in PPR leagues. Taking his whole career (even rookie games), Downs averages over 13 PPR PPG when playing a very normal 70%+ of the snaps.

Downs has the best opportunity of his career in 2026, with his first real shot to play more than a strict slot role given the lack of outside receiver replacement for Michael Pittman Jr. and Alec Pierce's injury recovery. Across his entire career (including rookie games), Downs averages over 13 PPR PPG when playing 70%+ of snaps. His fit with Daniel Jones as a short-area, quick target is ideal. The Colts' young receiver is going outside the top-100 draft picks and has the chance to be not only good but highly consistent week-to-week if he lands on the positive side of his range of outcomes.
