Maye threw the ball effectively early in joint practices when the Patriots' starters were on the field, but the Patriots' run game struggled against the Eagles' dominant defensive line. Maye threw two interceptions to Marcus Jones and was under duress from the Eagles' pass rush with multiple would-be sacks. He acknowledged red zone inconsistencies, saying 'Felt like we could have done more in the red zone. That's something for us to learn. It's one of our focuses this year… so we got some work to do.'
