Wiley returning from injury; competing for TE3 after strong preseason catch.

After missing most of the 2025 season with injury, Jared Wiley has flashed in camp and had a terrific sideline catch in Week 1 of the preseason. He and Jake Briningstool both seem to be competing for the third tight end spot. With his height and size, he has a chance to become the Chiefs' third tight end and compete for a spot on the active roster, though neither has shown much prowess in run blocking.
