Drake Maye's contract extension is expected to be addressed after Christian Gonzalez's deal is completed in 2026. Karon Prunty notes the Patriots will need to focus on getting Maye's deal done next year. Prunty also wonders if the Patriots will play Maye and some of the other starters for a series or two in the final preseason game against Cleveland to get them ramped up before the regular season opener in Seattle.
