The Cleveland Browns claimed tight end Dae'Quan Wright on August 11th but waived him on Sunday with an agreement in place for him to return to college and play for LSU in the 2026 season, following former Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin. Wright is believed to be the first player who could play for an NFL team and then return to college; however, another NFL team could claim him off waivers or legal battles could force him back to the professional league.
