The Raiders RB left practice Sunday with a sprained ankle after diving to make a catch and landing awkwardly; he was unable to put pressure on his right leg. While not believed to be a long-term issue at this point, specifics of the injury are not yet known. Jeanty was selected 6th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft and was expected to be the focal point of the Raiders offense under new head coach Klint Kubiak; he played all 17 games as a rookie with 975 rushing yards, 5 rushing TDs on 266 carries, plus 346 receiving yards and 5 receiving TDs on 55 receptions.
