I understand the situational appeal with Lloyd, but my non-fantasy take is that the Packers should try to trade for a reliable backup and still treat Lloyd more like a lottery ticket. He's barely played football since 2022-23, when he was a timeshare back with ball-security issues for eight-win teams. Since then, he's missed two years with injuries. It's not just about staying healthy; we have no clue yet if this guy is even any good.

Lloyd's preseason TD doesn't offset injury history and lack of recent game experience.

Got the start and took 5-of-6 RB touches on opening drive, including 11-yard TD catch; finished 6 carries for 17 yards plus TD. However, Jordyn Tyson cautions: Lloyd is barely played football since 2022-23 (timeshare back with ball-security issues), missed two years with injuries, and "we have no clue yet if this guy is even any good." Tyson recommends treating him as a lottery ticket and suggests Packers should trade for a reliable backup.
