Yahoo Fantasy Football on Jonathon Brooks
ArticleNFL Preseason Week 2 Fantasy Football Takeaways: Ashton Jeanty injury uncertain...
From the article
Jonathon Brooks played on 12-of-13 of them and finished with a goal-line touchdown. It's great to see him out there, but if I'm being completely honest, he does not look overly dynamic athletically. His jump cuts as a rusher and lateral ability while sliding in pass protection seem a little stiff. He specifically underwhelmed in pass protection here, which is key for him as the general consensus is that he can be the pass-game complement to Chuba Hubbard (hamstring) when he returns. Right now, I'm drafting the falling Hubbard infinitely more than buying the top of Brooks.

Brooks scores but underwhelms athletically; Zachariason prefers falling Hubbard.
Brooks played on 12-of-13 snaps with the Panthers' starters in preseason Week 2 and scored a goal-line touchdown, but does not look overly dynamic athletically; his jump cuts as a rusher and lateral ability while sliding in pass protection seem stiff, and he specifically underwhelmed in pass protection. JJ Zachariason is drafting the falling Chuba Hubbard infinitely more than buying Brooks at the top.
