Fannin's 5th-most targets and Monken's TE-friendly history support top-5 upside.
The source projects Fannin as a TE2 with top-5 upside at the position. Fannin finished 5th among tight ends in targets (107) in 2025, trailing only McBride, Pitts, Warren, and Kelce; also 8th in receptions (72) and touchdowns (6). Offensive coordinator Todd Monken has a track record of featuring tight ends: Mark Andrews averaged 13th-15th in fantasy points over three seasons in Baltimore with 1st-2nd in touchdowns; Monken also coached Brock Bowers at Georgia, where Bowers posted 850+ receiving yards in both 2021-2022 with 20 combined touchdowns. Fannin was arguably the best tight end prospect two years ago and showed flashes of upside as a rookie.
