Pierce provides an elite deep threat with the ability to separate vertically, high-point the football, and make acrobatic, contested catches—routinely winning '50-50' balls. The Colts lack a bona fide WR1 otherwise, even with the late training camp addition of Keenan Allen. Pierce is expected to be featured much more collectively within the Colts passing offense this season, having continued to improve his route tree since entering the league in 2022. He is the only wide receiver on the Colts roster with his skill set, and few NFL teams have another like him.
