Despite a poor playoff performance (10th-lowest EPA per dropback for a starting QB in a playoff game since 2007), Stroud was a top-10 quarterback in EPA per play during the 2025 regular season, sandwiched between Darnold and Patrick Mahomes. Houston ranked 13th in dropback EPA and 12th in rate of drives ending in a score. If the running game (31st in success rate since Stroud entered the league) improves, this could be the best offense Houston has seen in years.
