The Broncos offense ranked fourth in success rate but 21st in explosive play rate last season. Waddle is in the fold to address that latter figure. The source is banking on Waddle having a diet version of a Stefon Diggs-like effect for Bo Nix, just as Diggs had on Josh Allen. Nix has been a solid quarterback, ranking 17th in EPA per play last year, but Waddle will push him to the next level.
