Godwin just wasn't anywhere near his usual self in 2025, coming off another devastating injury. It's possible he's just healthier and he rebounds, but that's a dangerous game to play for a 31-year-old with his injury history. Godwin is also playing with a coordinator without the history he's had with the Bucs, and it's hard to review the 2025 tape and not believe that Emeka Egbuka is just another full tier above.

Godwin's 2025 decline and injury history make Round 9 price a dangerous fade.

Chris Godwin Jr. is a Round 9 fade (1% ADP) because he wasn't anywhere near his usual self in 2025 coming off another devastating injury; while a rebound is possible, that's a dangerous game for a 31-year-old with his injury history. Godwin is also playing with a new coordinator without his history with the Bucs. The 2025 tape suggests Emeka Egbuka is a full tier above. Godwin's career-low 1.28 yards per route and Matt Harmon's Reception Perception data show 6th percentile rating against zone and 16th percentile against man coverage—nowhere near Egbuka's 56th and 67th percentile ratings in a far more difficult outside role.
