If I were to tell you that there was a second-round pick running back who ran a 4-3, who scored 12 touchdowns as a rookie, and was cheaper in year two than they were in year one... RJ Harvey and JK Dobbins are going very close together. Harvey is obviously cheaper... RJ Harvey is going to be the passing down back... I think R.J. Harvey can just play better than J.K. Dobbins, and that we can see R.J. Harvey just naturally take over a larger portion of that backfield.

Ranked back-to-back with JK Dobbins on flockfantasy.com but at a lower ADP. Locked in as the passing-down back with solid pass-blocking ability and goal-line efficiency. Mattek projects Harvey can play better than Dobbins and naturally take over a larger portion of the Denver backfield. However, Harvey was inefficient as a rookie—not super explosive, didn't break many tackles, and had a tendency to bounce plays to the outside rather than taking what's available, similar to D'Andre Swift's problem. The Denver Broncos' offense is expected to improve this season with the addition of Jaylen Waddle, which should create better opportunities for Harvey. Round-7 target with strong conviction.
