Tyson is dealing with a hamstring injury – the same problem that dogged him in college – and he will be out to start the season. Normally that would turn any player, especially an unproven one, to an auto-fade, but the market continues to price Tyson as a quasi-priority pick.

Tyson's hamstring injury, Saints' crowded WR room, and prove-it week needed make him a 2027 target.
Tyson, the New Orleans rookie at ADP 95.3, is dealing with a hamstring injury—the same problem that plagued him in college—and will miss the start of the season. While normally an auto-fade, the market prices him as a quasi-priority pick. Drafting into summer injuries is risky; IR spots will have company before September. Most players off long-term injuries need a prove-it week before trusting them in lineups, costing another game. Even with perfect rehab, upside is capped: the Saints have alpha WR Chris Olave, catch-gobbling TE Juwan Johnson, and average-at-best QB Tyler Shough. Wait until 2027 to draft Tyson proactively.
