Mendoza was five of nine for 39 yards in the first half. Mendoza started the second half and was playing with Jordan Meredith at center. Zuhn moved to right tackle. Mendoza was replaced by Aidan O'Connell to start the fourth quarter. The rookie went 7 of 14 for 57 yards with an interception and two sacks. It wasn't a great night, but he didn't get much help. For the preseason, Mendoza went 25 of 45 for 240 yards with one touchdown, two interceptions and he was sacked four times, though he was pressured often.

Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak has not announced Week 1 starter but all signs point to Kirk Cousins.
