Smith led WRs in offensive snaps (113); snap counts don't predict final roster.

Rookie WR led wide receivers in offensive snaps with 113 over preseason (plus 13 special teams for 126 total), indicating the Cowboys gave their rookies significant playing time; however, snap counts don't necessarily indicate roster positioning, as Jonathan Mingo was held out of the final preseason game and may have secured a fifth WR spot despite lower snap totals.
